Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

The service

Kora (“Kora”) provides an AI voice receptionist that answers calls, takes messages, books appointments, and sends related text messages on behalf of client businesses. By using the service you agree to these terms.

What the service is not

The receptionist is an automated assistant. It does not provide professional, trade, medical, or emergency advice, and it is not a substitute for calling 000 in an emergency. Bookings and messages it records are passed to the relevant business, which remains responsible for the work it performs, its pricing, and its scheduling.

Client responsibilities

Client businesses must provide accurate information (services, pricing, hours, service area), keep their connected calendar current, comply with applicable law in their dealings with customers, and tell us promptly if any configured detail changes.

Fees and cancellation

Fees are as agreed in writing with each client. Unless otherwise agreed, plans are month-to-month and can be cancelled with notice before the next billing cycle; no lock-in contracts.

Service limits and liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but automated systems and third-party networks can fail or mishear. To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose guarantees are not excluded), our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or the fees paid for the period affected. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed bookings.
