Who we are

Kora (“Kora”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI voice receptionist service for home-services businesses in Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details you submit on this site (name, business name, phone number, industry), used to contact you about the service.
  • Call datawhen our receptionist answers a call for a client business: the caller's phone number, audio of the call, transcripts, and details the caller provides (such as a name, address, and the reason for calling), used to take messages, book appointments, and send related text messages on that business's behalf.
  • Service records such as bookings, messages, and text-message delivery status.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the receptionist service: answering calls, booking jobs into the relevant business's calendar, sending booking confirmations and follow-up texts, and improving the reliability of the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use caller information for marketing unrelated to the business the caller contacted.

Text messages

Booking confirmations and follow-up texts are sent only in connection with an enquiry or booking. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further messages; we honour opt-outs immediately and only text between 8am and 9pm local time.

Storage and third parties

Data is stored with reputable cloud providers, and calls are processed by AI and telephony providers (including Anthropic, Vapi, Twilio, and transcription/voice services) strictly to deliver the service. Some processing may occur on servers outside Australia.

Access, correction, and deletion

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at info@koracalls.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you have a complaint we can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
